The Lesse had been closed to navigation for 47 days. It took a spell of rain over the upper catchment to climb back above the 1.5 m³/s threshold and stay there.

At 2.56 m³/s the river sits at the low end of its navigable range. The current stays weak: expect more paddling than in spring and a descent longer than the posted time. A few shallow sections may mean stepping out of the boat for a couple of metres.
